The PAREF Schools in the Philippines invite you to the Press Conference for the 2nd Jesus Centered Life International Conference on October 13 at 10am via Zoom. As the theme of our conference is “Share the Joy“, our presscon will be focusing on “The Modern Family in Crisis: Finding Hope and Joy in the Pandemic“.
Our distinguished panel will include the author of Jesus-Centered book, Dr Raul Nidoy who is also the Director of Personal Formation of PAREF, together with other international and local speakers of our conference: Deacon Harold Sivers-Burke, Hal Urban and Mann Rentoy.
Parents for Education Foundation Inc. or PAREF is a network of private schools established by parents since 1976. Last year, we started the Jesus-Centered Life Conference or JCL. It is an annual gathering of students, parents, educators and young professionals around the world who share ideas, inspirations and best practices on living a life centered on Jesus Christ, as the Popes have urged. This JCL Conference is also endorsed by the CBCP.
Last year, JCL 2020 gathered more than 20,000 participants from all over the world, including Australia, India, Malta, Chile, United Kingdom, Ivory Coast, United States, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Canada and Kenya. We had 31 international speakers and 57 local speakers. We also had online masses celebrated by four bishops.
This year’s theme, “Share the Joy” is a call to action to second the call of Pope Francis to “reach out to others and bring them…the joy of the Gospel.”
