The school community received the ashes on their forehead to mark the beginning of Lent, the Church’s penitential season, in the School Chapel today, Ash Wednesday.
Rev. Fr. Derrick Barria, in his Homily, provided the students with a short catechesis on the season of Lent. He also recommended things that students could give up during this season of penitence and almsgiving.
