In partnership with Axis Entertainment Avenue, our Grade 12 students were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in starting and running a business for their Business Entrepreneurship class last November 27 and December 4, 2022.
There were four teams composed of 8-9 members. Each member was assigned to a specific aspect of business operation, namely marketing, finance, and operations departments.
Our students were required to plan their business, look for raw materials and ingredients, compare supplier prices, and make samples of their products. They were also provided a simulation of complying with business documents as they were also required to submit their business profiles and related forms to Axis.
Among their business ideas were Frosty Poros (Ice Cream Sandwiches), Bradley’s Barbeque Crib (Asian Barbecue Skewers), Fusion Station (Asian Rice Meals), Lemon Grab (Lemonade Stand).
Although challenging, the experience of preparing and selling their products proved to be a fun learning experience for the boys.
