UUU Orchestra members conducted an engaging music education session at the LH Foundation Gymnasium of PAREF Springdale School last August 30, 2023.
Students, faculty, and staff participated in the event, where the orchestra members introduced various orchestral instruments and performed renditions highlighting these instruments.
The interactive session offered students an insightful glimpse into the realm of orchestral music, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for classical performances.
Comprising skilled Japanese musicians from diverse regions, the UUU Orchestra demonstrated different instruments commonly used in orchestras.
Through informative demonstrations and interactive activities, students gained familiarity with the sounds and roles of these instruments.
The orchestra’s live renditions of popular songs further underscored the distinctive contributions of each instrument and their harmonious collaboration.
Among the songs they performed were “I Dreamed a Dream” and “Do You Hear the People Sing?” from the play Les Miserables and Gurenge, the official sound track of Demon Slayer.
The UUU Orchestra’s is a program of NPO Seven Spirit, a Japanese non-profit organization aiming to enhance life skills among beneficiaries through complimentary music and sports programs.
Recognized for its dedication to combating teenage drug addiction, crime, and violence, NPO Seven Spirits aimed to convey the positive influence of music on personal growth and well-being.
